This oversized moon necklace has been hand forged and shaped out of thick gauge brass.  Hammered for texture, there is a 10mm pyrite gemstone bezel set on the bottom.  Moon is about 3 inches.  Everything is hung on 17 inches of 14 karat gold fill   chain.  Also available in a sterling silver moon on sterling silver chain.

Gold filled jewelry is an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. It does not flake off, rub off or turn colors.
