This gemstone coffin ring features a beautiful aurora opal doublet that has been bezel set in fine and sterling silver.  The aurora opal gives a touch of daintiness to an otherwise edgy, dark, coffin.  The colors in this aurora opal read mostly bluish with pink.

Ring has a thick, 2.5mm, (10 gauge half round wire) sterling silver band.

 Gemstone is about 10x17mm at its largest point.

Gemstone is an Aurora Opal Doublet. Aptly named Aurora Opal resembles the Aurora Borealis.  Aurora Opal is lab created.  They feature bright, swirling color that are highlighted by the faceted Quartz.  This opal doublet is a fusion of a natural opal and a clear quartz cap.  Please do not submerge in water for extended periods of time.
